Electric Lady Tattoos is an independent tattoo studio nestled in the heart of Reading, Berkshire, on Crown Street. Inspired by the legendary Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Lady Studios, the warmth and creativity of the 70s, and the rich heritage of tattooing, we’ve created a welcoming space where artistry, individuality and self-expression come together.
Home to a friendly team of eight talented resident artists, every tattoo is approached as a collaboration. From bold traditional designs and intricate geometric work to photorealism, fine line and everything in between, each artist brings their own unique style while working closely with you to create something that’s personal, meaningful and made to last.
First visit to the studio, and it was second to none. The studio is really cosy and the artists were very welcoming. It was such a fun atmosphere, you could tell they all have a lot of love for each other and it made me feel immediately at ease, internally cackling at the banter between them.

Shiv was so kind and understanding throughout. She also amended the design just as I requested. I'm so happy with the result; it looks fantastic. Would definitely go back in future!
