Hi, I’m Blaine- I started my apprenticeship at Electric Lady in 2017 and have been tattooing ever since!
My speciality is black and grey realism- I love tattooing anything realistic, but specifically animal portraits, mythology inspired tattoos, or anything nature inspired too!
I enjoy working on larger projects and realism pieces, and I’m looking to add specifically more portraits as well as sleeves to my portfolio. However I am happy to take on most tattoos and styles- I equally enjoy tattooing smaller one off pieces, and love working with clients to create custom designs based on their requests. Some of my favourite tattoos I’ve worked on are the small meaningful pieces with a backstory!
Prior to tattooing, I spent my most of my time painting and drawing colour realism pieces; this is a style that I’ve been wanting to develop in my tattooing for a while now, and I would love to broaden my horizon and explore the colour realism style in 2025. In saying that though, my first love does lie with black and grey realism, and I also want to focus on adding black and grey projects to my portfolio too!
When I’m not tattooing, I’ve been exploring photography and filming. I’m still a novice, but I’ve been enjoying filming for the studio- I might not appear as frequently on the studio instagram page as I’m usually behind the camera!
